Metropolitan Secondary Schools Competition
Draw and Results 2025

The draw for the competition will be placed here when available.

The results will also appear here and will be regularly updated during the competition.

Results for 2024 and previous years may be found under "History" (return to the previous page).

Entry of Players' Names

The results of your matches should be submitted via the online scoring system, which has been developed for us by the Sydney Academy of Chess. Once your entry has been approved you will be sent a logon, password and instructions to access the system. Previous school chess coordinators should be able to use last year's login and password (after the entry is approved) – if you have forgotten your password just click on the "Lost password?" button and a new password will be emailed to you.

When you receive your login and password please enter the details of your new players (your players from previous years should be there already). It is important that this be done before the first round (or at least before a player first plays) so that the players' results can be entered by you and the chess coordinator of the opposing team.

Please take care when entering  the players' names (correct spelling) and dates of birth (these are needed to distinguish between players of the same name with over 18,000 players in our records there are many duplicates). The results of all games played will be used to give every player a chess rating, and for ratings to be meaningful the players must be identified correctly.

Click on the link below to reach the Online Scoring System, where you may enter your players' details and, later, the results of their games.
