Some results will be added soon. [20 May]: Following the problems caused by our internet service provider's hardware and software upgrade on 17 May we are gradually bringing the website up to date. Please be aware that draws added or changed between 5 and 16 May may not yet have been reinstated. We suggest you monitor this page regularly. [9 May]: Changes are sometimes made to draws and are indicated by messages in the draw sheets. The chess coordinators of affected schools are notified by email, but we strongly recommend that you check your draws regularly in case our email messages do not get through. [9 May]: The draws for Griffith and Wagga Wagga zones are now available. [7 May]: The draw is now available for all zones except: • Albury, Goulburn, Griffith, Macarthur and Wagga Wagga which are awaiting confirmation of possible additional teams – the starting date for these zones has been deferred; and • Bathurst, Blayney, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo-Wellington and Tamworth, for which the draw is being provided by local coordinators The coordinators for these zones will contact participating schools directly. (In many of the country zones arrangements are made to play all matches on one or two days at a central venue.) [30 April]: [Please do not phone the Primary Schools Coordinator to ask when your draw will be available - he is working night and day on the draws and any interruptions will cause further delays!] [27 April]: Work is under way in preparing the draw for this year's competition. The draw for each zone should be added progressively over the next few days. Please monitor this page until your draw is available. The competition booklets and result cards are being posted to schools within the next day or two. The first round for most zones will be on Friday 9 May (the second Friday of term), except in some country zones which are organised locally or where schools arrange to play multiple matches in one day to reduce travel. |
