Entry of Players' Names

Please submit your results immediately after each match – preferably on the night of the match or, at the latest, on the next school day. This will help us keep the results on the website up to date.

School chess coordinators will be sent a logon, password and instructions for accessing the online scoring system. Once you receive these details please enter the names of your new players (your players from previous years should be there already). It is important that this be done before the first round (or at least before a player first plays) so that the players' results can be entered by you and the chess coordinator of the opposing team.

Please take care when entering  the players' names (correct spelling) and dates of birth (these are needed to distinguish between players of the same name – with nearly 14,000 players in our records there are many duplicates). The results of all games played will be used to give every player a chess rating and for ratings to be meaningful the players must be identified correctly.
