Schools Chess Challenge

The NSWJCL's Schools Chess Challenge was an annual tournament for school teams of three players and was held in two divisions for Primary Schools and Secondary Schools. The first Challenge was held in 1994 and over the years became extremely popular, attracting large numbers of teams 200 teams (603 players including reserves) took part in 2002.

However, the Schools Chess Challenge has not been held since 2007 due to the unavailability of a sufficiently large venue.
